Mardini Constructions is the practice of Elvis Mardini, a Sydney builder who has spent more than two decades on the city's most demanding residential sites.
Most of the team works directly for Elvis, and he stays close to every stage of a project himself. That is deliberate. Luxury and heritage work only reads as effortless when someone is watching the concrete, the engineering and the smallest finished detail with the same eye.
In 2012 the practice won a Master Builders Association NSW Excellence Award for a major heritage alterations and additions project in Bellevue Hill — a steep, sensitive harbourside site that called for large-scale excavation, new structural work and the careful renovation of an old home. It is the kind of brief the studio was built for: hard sites, high finishes, and homes meant to last.

We at Harry Seidler & Associates had the great pleasure of working with Elvis Mardini when Harry's Park was built in 2011. We all enjoyed being with him and his team of Mardini Constructions, but the real joy was the masterful concrete he produced for that very special job. Harry would have been proud of the result.
The principal of the company, Elvis Mardini, is a perfectionist who was closely involved in every stage of the project. He proved to be very capable in all aspects of the job, including large scale excavation and concrete works, installation of a new type of lift, and in meeting all the requirements of our architect and interior designer.
Elvis is a builder who is focused on achieving award winning houses. He worked collaboratively with us and our excellent architect to come up with something which was really out of the box. With an excellent eye for detail for even the fussiest of clients he was always available and enthused to share ideas and work them through.
The project was completed on budget and ahead of time. The quality of the work from the unseen foundations and engineering down to the smallest finished detail was of the highest quality. Nine years later there have been no problems and the work looks every bit as good as when it was constructed.
